Here you will find 60 miles of shoreline, of which 25 miles are on Lake Michigan, including a portion of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. This naturally scenic area of northern Michigan, with its sandy beaches, high bluffs, clean lakes and natural rivers has been titled “The Best Place in Michigan for Outdoor Sports”.

Point Betsie Lighthouse

Benzie County’s most famous landmark, is located on the Lake Michigan shore just south of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and about five miles north of Frankfort, Michigan. Point Betsie is one of the most photographed lighthouses in the United States, and likely the most visited attraction in Benzie County.
